Title: Wanted: Harmonic balancer spacer for FE390 crankshaft (found)
Post by: McBrain on January 02, 2024, 07:19:07 am
I'm doing the rear main and timing cover on my 68 fastback with a 390

I've found that the harmonic balancer spacer (fits over crankshaft between timing chain and harmonic balancer, is badly cracked. I need a replacement to be able to get the engine back together.

Based in Melbourne E Suburbs.

Thanks Mick.

They are very hard to find. I ended up ordering a repro one yesterday from West Coast Cougars in the US - resigned myself that the rebuild won't be done this week.

Gives me time to fit the new intake manifold though!

Cheers
