Any Hervey Bay members?
« on: August 14, 2017, 09:24:12 am »
There's a possibility I may move up to Hervey Bay next year so would be keen to discuss the pros and cons of living there with any members from the Hervey Bay/Maryborough area.

Pedro,
I live in Maryborough, after moving from Canberra 3 years ago. Message me with your number and I will give you a rundown on the local areas. Ash

I'm just in the throws of moving up to Hervey Bay from the GC with work.
Was in the bay over the weekend and as I'm coming into town theres a line of a couple 67's, 68 conv and I think a Caddy amongst others at the United servo.
Saw quite a few hotrods over the weekend so there appears to be a healthy classic car following up that way...

Messaged you 20/9 but no reply. In the meantime I went up to look at some properties there and Bargara over a few days last week. If I do make the move I think I'd settle on Point Vernon.

Was lucky enough to be in Bargara when the annual Rum City Rods Car Show was on the Sunday (1/10). Great show, huge number of spectators, got to talk with a few muscle car guys.
