Title: Top Loader - What colour?

Could someone advise what colour a top loader 4 speed gearbox should be painted in a '67 GT500?

It's black at the moment, but I would expect it to be blue, like the engine?

I would say all early (65 to 70) toploaders and linkages are all bare metal finish.  You can buy the cast iron paint from Eastwood.com for about $10 a can. Hope this helps :)
