Title: Powerglide transmission
Post by: Coupe66 on June 30, 2023, 09:01:44 pm
Hi All,
I am currently running a C4 transmission with 3500rpm behind my 347 engine.
I am building a new 363 Windsor and have just bought a powerglide with 4000rpm converter. This gearbox was previously running behind a 347windsor.
Does anyone know if I will have any issues fitting this transmission into my 66 coupe?
I realise there will be cross member modifications and new driveshaft, but wondering if anyone has fitted a powerglide into a 66 mustang before.
Thanks,
Wes.
