Title: 100,000 km
Post by: BRUMBE on June 03, 2021, 06:25:25 pm
I have just passed the 100,000 km mark in my 2017 GT convertible.  Was August 2017 delivery (May 2017 build) so been my daily driver for almost 4 years.

The car has run without any problems - flawless you might say.  Only issue has been the rear view camera - cabling decided not to play about two years ago.

Modifications have been minimal: CAI, lowered on Steeda progressive springs, GT350 steering wheel, serious upgrade to stereo speakers plus subwoofer (that makes the car go even faster!!).  Been running on Michelin Pilot Sport 4S once I ran through those terrible Pirelli P Zeros it came with.

Has anyone else done over 100,000 km?

I'm only at 4,400 km in my 2016 which is supposed to be a second daily driver but I just haven't been using it that much.

Im at 183,400 in my 2016 GT. Same as you - flawless mechanically. Had the Air Con go in 2017 but fixed under warranty.

I haven't reached this mileage on any of my cars. How do you guys maintain it? How often do you replace your wheels and tires (https://4wheelonline.com/wheel-and-tire-packages.283376)?  :burnout:

Cars down here are expensive to buy in comparison to the US (smaller market size), so we tend to hold onto our cars longer.
