I dont want this to start in to a thread bashing anyones reputation but I wanted to tell you guys about a great job I just had done.
I bought off Evilbay just before christmas a Dynacorn replacement front bumper for my 66. The seller assured me it was a quality Dynacorn replacement, supposedly made in the USA out of original equipment.............HA HA THE BOX SAY'S MADE IN TIAWAN. I saved it untill a couple of weeks back , keeping it fresh till Easter ( Nats ) after trying to fit it I found it to be an inch & a quarter overall length longer than my original one...........As you could imagine 3 weeks out from the Nats & drama .........;] So off to my local chrome plater with my original one.I wont say their name but suffice to say it starts with a W ( you work it out). Any way after a fortnight I get the call ...all fixed come & get it.( This was last Friday afternoon). When I arrived I found it to be in worse condition than when I dropped it off two weeks prior.......:_:_:_ after a major bung fight I walked out bumper under my arm & no money changing hands ( as if ).
I stewed all weekend & took it to work with me on Monday morning just gone , thought I would try the ring around , hey what did I have to loose.......I ended up ringing CHROMEMASTERS at Elizabeth & spoke to a guy named STEVE....he said Mate bring it straight up I will have in show condition for you by Friday............Guess what :p:p...its Killer Its back on the car, on time as promissed, Couldn't be happier :( :( TWO THUMBS UP CHROMEMASTERS
I GAVE HIM WHAT HE ASKED FOR, PAYMENT WISE WITHOUT HESITATION & THREW HIM IN A BOTTLE OF JOHNNY WALKER FOR HIS TROUBLE....:(
