My 65 Fastback journey

Hello everyone;{

Since im sitting in this van for the next 10 hours i thought it was probably time i introduced and shared my project story as i have enjoyed all of yours.

It was early 2009 when i had saved up enough pennies to by myself a decent mustang. I  was set on a fastback from day one. I knew they were much more expensive and throughout my searching i came close to buying a coupe in several occasions. With my budget  I was looking for a 1965-66 fastback most likely a 6cyl ok daily driver that needed some resto.

Mid 2009 I teamed up with Shermatt, as a lot of you know, a great guy to work with and  very helpful. Matt being Matt having clients hanging off his ears was still very persistent on helping me find "THE CAR" after Several emails for a couple of months back and forth i am very happy to say that i purchased my first mustang late November last year coming out with a 1965 Mustang Fastback A-code GT!

I will post some photos at the end. The car needed a complete resto. The bloke we purchased it off already had the project on the go, so part of the purchase deal was to get body work done, all running gear and painted. Raven Black.

It is now June, yes I have been eagerly waiting, though i have been touring a lot the past few months which keeps me sane. There have been a few hold-ups along the way    but  i have been very patient with Matt, just trying to finish off a few more things before it gets shipped over.
