Victorians should check out the "Letsgocruisin" website for a massive Cruise/Movie night at the "Dromana Drive In" on Sat 27th Feb.;2
Cruising to it from either The Manhattan Hotel in Ringwood or the Chelsea Heights Hotel/Carrum.:]
Bands, dress up prizes, kids entertainment, tradestands, door prizes, Monster charity auction, etc etc.
Only 500 pre 75 Chrome bumper or Special Interest cars maximum, can be accommodated and entry by pre purchase only.
Magazine and TV coverage to also happen.
This will be a sensational and massive night so get your ticket organised.:(

I probably will lead the huge convoy from Carrum to the Dromana Drive In.

open to the general public yeah ? Reason I ask is that the entry form asks you for a 'cruiser #'.

Got the OK from the other half - should be good. Cant think of a better use for the Galaxie.

Mild67 hope you got back home OK. We had a great cruise down to The Drive In with around 45 cars in the convoy.I think they had 30 or so from the Manhattan on the other cruise. All up we got about 350+ cars into the Drive In. The weather held and the evening was a roaring success. Bands, raffles, auctions, kids jumping castles, playgrounds, and fabulous cars from the pre 75 era! Even had a fashion parade/contest for that same era. Just bucket loads of prizes and awards and everyone had a fantastic time. Oh and did I mention the Movies.Scheduled again for next year so put this in the diary.
Not to be missed for the whole family.;2:(

got home fine, fixed the wiring and made a gaurd so it can happen again, some nice cars there and great people too, lets go cruisin is the only clubthings iv been to that people come up to you and introduce them selves.

I got there about 6:00pm. Walked around but didn't see your car Johnno.

We were in field 3 to the left of the diner as you look at the screen. Was a good night, but we only stayed for about 20mins of the dirst movie. I wasn't too interested in the movies.

I was in the Galaxie. Made it to Dromana and back !

Frank, sorry I missed catching up but I was chasing my grand daughter around a fair bit! I was just in front of the low white fence to the LHS of the official stage area. A few rows in front of and a little to the right of your car. We also left after about 1/2 an hr of "Grease". It was a good nite though.
