mine is covered for 20k, i just renewed it, however now i am starting to get moving on it, i am thinking of upping it. mine is laid up, and in bits. i guess i better strip the whole car and put it in primer before i up and send more pics to LSV.

currently only $93 for 20k

I set up a Power Point which I added pics to and updated Shannons then LSV when I turned, in that I also added the commercial value of Parts and labour which was going into the project to give it the correct value. for eg my suspension and trans where almost 18k landed add the car etc etc.
Sometimes being honest with yourself about all the little bits shows the value you 'need' to cover the little gems for!

My 66 GT coupe insured with LSV for $55k, $430 but when I insured my SS Commodore with them also, I got $200 rebate on the Mustang. SS is 1994 insured for $12K, $868. Both cars are limited use, 2 days per week ($8000 km/yr). I have salvage rights on the mustang not the SS. Only one car can be on the road at any given time & they are both in locked garages. I was with Shannons for the Mustang, same value, same conditions, $730

Might not be a joke Rick, the reason co's like LSV & Shannons are cheaper is because they are so tight with claims hence less payouts. I know a case (not sure whether it was legit) where a claim was made with shannons for a stolen vehicle, and all the T's weren't crossed & i's weren't dotted. The insured got prorata premium back, claim refused, but hey, that makes it cheaper for us honest guys.

LSV for me, both my Stangs are covered by them, the guy there is a car buff like us. But as has been stated its a personal thing and we all have our own opinions, regards Lea.
