Hello.

Reader, and first time writing.

I have been reading on the site and I see Shermatt and Bosskraft come recommended.

First, I wanted to know of anyones experiences with USAtoAus?

Secondly, who else is an importer of note?

Any information greatly appreciated.

Just search usatoaus in the forum and you will find a few threads about these guys

I have never used them but do your homework

There is one particular thread that is missing but it may have been taken down by the poster so i wont go much more into it

Agree with Foresight, but I think one of those posts were deleted by the forum admin.

Thank you for the information.

I am really looking at just trying to find out the average costs for importing and trying to find sources to get an idea of the overall costs.

I am checking alot of websites for Australian based sources and building a website bank to help me make the right decision.

Buying "Just Cars" as well to get some further information and price guides.

I am importing to Brisbane, Qld.

Anything else I should be doing?

I'd recommend looking at the prices and what's involved with  registering a car that has been imported but never registered in Oz, and what bits and pieces are required.

Sorry about the slow time checking in.

I am looking towards a fastback 65 - 67. However, I have seen some coup's which are exceptional so I suppose it depends on the individual car.

I am also partial to 1973 Mach 1's...

Happy to look at a project, but as this would be my first Mustang I really have no experience with building, repairing, etc.
