My 13 yr old son and his mate went exploring and found these old cars in thick bush less than 500m from our house.  weve been here for 8 years and never knew they were there, they are not on our property, not sure if it is private property or not. There is an XP wagon, a mid 40's ford, a couple of old dodge utes, 3 FJ Holdens and the most interesting is a late 30's  V8 Lasalle woody wagon, it looks knackered and most of the wood has rotted away

such a waste,
down here at home in Tassie ive found a few fx and fj when we got our farm,
one was an old milk truck but it was filled with papers from the 50s.
funny how people back then didnt care,
I guess in 50 years our normal cars will be the same eh

Amazing when you put some thought to it.
Someone put them there with intentions in the future at some point?
Why?
When were they planning to move further on these projects?
Why did they give up?
Why those cars?

This last one may look out of place, except the photo was taken about 500 metres north of the "Bridge over the river Kwai" in Thailand!!
