Time for the next project. Ron who bought Lucy the red 66 coupe from me in July has just purchased a M code mach 1 for us to restore.
It has a great history, It was a drag and track race car called the 'Tang' from 1973- 78 when the guy blew up the engine. It sat fr years, and then was handed through 3 guys who bought it to restore and never got around to it so it has been sitting in various garages for the last 30 years. It has 65,000 miles on it.
We are doing a full rotisserie resto ( building the rotisserie this week.)
Was going to do a moffat clone but probably want to do it blue now, up to Ron.
Thinking about rack in pinion steering, later model 351W, disc brakes all round, still working out the budget....
We love this car!
