G'day guys,
After years of looking I have finally taken the plunge and got myself a 70 Mach1, which I am now waiting to arrive. Reading through the many threads in the forums there is a lot of thoughts out there of what is required for QLD L02. Price seems to be fairly varied as well. Is there somebody out there that may have recently done a 70 Mach1 that can tell me or know what is actually required to be done.

;w
Cheers,
            Pauno

Hey Pauno.

Welcome to soon-to-be Mustang Ownership and especially welcome to another 70 owner.
Sorry I cant help you with the L02 as I am in Vic.

One thing that I found here was that I went to a regional office instead of a city/suburban office of Vicroads and my appointment was one of the last on a Friday arvo.  I think they are bit more easy going out of the city, in a good mood as its friday arvo and they wanted to make it as quick as possible and get to the pub !

Good luck.

Cheers,
Frank.

Hey Frank,
I like the way you think. From the calls I have made up this way it does seem pretty hit and miss, some people certainly seem more pedantic than others. No doubt I will find out either way. I am looking to do the fitment myself.

;}
Cheers,

Pauno.

Any pics of your car ? Is it comng from the US ? Is it that white one that was one here  that had the price reduced ? Seemed like a good deal.

Cheers,
Frank.

Frank,
Thought you were talking about my brother in laws Mach 1
But then realised the white one is still up for grabs.

Hey Frank,
Yes it is coming from the US, but it's not the white one.

Check your U2U.

Hi Pauno,

Good luck and as Frank said great to have another 70 onboard. I posted this guys number on another post regarding seat belts and droppers that you can probably find if of iterest. I think he is in Victoria but seems to ship Hemco belts interstate and was really fast and pretty cheap Wayne 0413841074.  I also found one of the globes, front indicators I think was impossible to find orange so I purchased some orange globe paint from Bursens.

Good luck, lets see some pics!  sean

Thanks Sean,

If you have these belts with droppers in your 70 is there a chance you can send pic's or a link. i'd be interetsted in how they look and sit. Also are they retractable? I might also try and find that thread that you refer to and have a read.

Thanks,
Cheers,
