General question

Hi guys, I just been trying to do some research and I heard a few things but not sure how much truth there is to them, so I thought id ask here.

I heard that the mustang chassis are identical to the falcons?
If so is this across the board for every model? For example would a 97 mustang still have the same chassis as a 97 ford?

I also heard that the falcon chassis is pretty much the same today as its been for the last 50 years or so?

Is there much truth to this or am i getting leg pulled?

Xrayman:
I'm almost certain you're getting told porkies

Camaro91:
I would say to pull the other one as it has bells on it ... but keep away from the one in the middle :p

ejmustang:

They were the same until 1966, after that they differed.

The 69 Australian Falcon was simlar to the Torino/Fairlane in the US (front rail set up only), also the 71-73 Mustang had that rail setup. Thats where it ends.

Other than some suspension components, not much was interchangeable.
