Regardless, the pay rate is always 30% - 50% more, for other trades, for an employee, who doesn't have to know as much, about as many varied systems. I have this first hand, from ex mechanics that have left the game, to start out as apprentices. This is from people that were mechanics, right up to foremen in charge of 25 techs.

Why don't you become the local delegate for underpaid mechanics.You seem to have a soft spot for these guy's and while your at it form a union for them.:+:+:+:+
