Unfortunately this event has been cancelled due to reasons beyond MOCA Vic's control and hopefully it can be reschedule at a later date.

No, his current insurance didn't cover him for drag racing, and he has only just become aware of that.

Interesting. They have been drag racing there for years so unless the print on his policy has become that much smaller or his eyes are shot I wonder how you could omit or neglect such an important fact. *rolls eyes*

He has had to source insurance from different places, over the last few years. For a while, he was self insured.

He has sacked all his current staff as well, so back to the drawing board for Calder. Expect it to be out of action for quite some time (if it was ever "in action" in the last 10 years??).
Perhaps you guys should talk to Russell about running it at his track?

Bob's heart has always been in the right place when its come to street racing and getting the young blokes off the road.

Hopefully all goes well for him and it doesn't cost him the right one which is all he has left now.

Russell still has not found a buyer for Heathcote, so he is still running it.

So Bob is not in charge anymore? That IS good news, hopefully something good will finally come of that place. It is really sad to see what Bob has done to that place, he would cut off his nose, to spite his face.
