Hello mustang club members.
I'm in need of info as am in the middle of purchasing a LHD 65 coupe from south australia and transporting to queensland. It is under club rego down there and want to know the right way about joining this club, getting the queensland historical rego with preferred insurance etc etc..
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Welcome to sunny Queensland.  You will have to join the club first.  You can download those of the site.  If the car has been registered in SA you will need the SA papers, if not you will need the import paers.  You will need to bet a dating letter from the dating officer of the club once you are a member, about $40.  You will also need a roadworthy certificate and a LO2 (blue plate - engieering certificate - meaning new ADR seat belts, indicator set up and then go to Qld Transport and register it.  Shouldn't be much trouble unleass they are in a bad mood.  Club rego is only about $145 from memory.
