Sweet lookin' ride, young feller! Congratulations. Are your wheels supposed to be chromed? I ask because they look like my Cragar SS's. Very CoolCar!

thanks mate, yeah i think at one stage they were chromed but who ever had it before me changed that. I was going to have them soda blasted back and re-chromed but i'm gonna save my money and get a new set of slightly bigger rims when i do a front disc brake conversion.

They would look awesum in chrome though!

Looks good in real life too!  You blasted past me at Miranda tonight when i stopped for an orange light:+
Shame you didnt brake as it would have been good to chat in real life.
My wife had the baby on Wednesday so the work on the car has ground to a halt.
Just need to get all the panels nice and smooth and then she will be ready for paint and then final assembly.

Drove a daily driver 66 for years with drum brakes.Only ran out of brakes twice.:w
Once was a Ford dealers day years ago took these guys and girls on a mystery drive down the southern highlands way.Plenty of mustangs were taking them. Was going down a steepish hill and got to the bottom and there was a single lane bridge and the muzzies in front were stopped My Car didnt want to stop but thankfully there was enough room to overtake a few stopped cars on the other side of the road and she pulled up .
Worst time was i used to do hire cars and was doing a formal at Mount Druitt in a 60 Caddy. Was opposite the school with a load of kids and the pedal went to the floor when i braked for a speed bump.Yelled hang on! and hit the speed bump pretty hard then got some pedal pressure back and slowed it down and turned into the school.
Cops on duty there were shocked when i said i had no brakes and gave me a big lecture and licence checks . My boss said Cant you drive it home I politly refused :w ::
