Put this one in your diary for Sunday 9th November – this coming weekend

The details are on the MOCA Web Site and unfortunately missed the magazine in October.

We are travelling to Woronora Dam for a picnic lunch or enjoy the Bar B Q facilities in the park.  (Bring your own food, drink and seating etc)  Meet at Roselands Pool Car Park at 9:00AM and travel to Woronora Dam via Menai.  This run was one of the first outings organised by the Mustang Club thirty years ago and will be attended by Eric Lang, MOCA’s first club president.  There are sure to be some interesting stories to be told.  We will be trying follow the original route and take in some scenery on the way.

For further detail, contact Events Co-ordinator John Chapman on 0409 915 601.

Woronora Dam is located south of Sydney, near Waterfall

Access is via the old Princess Highway, south from Sydney or North from Wollongong.  Turn off the Princess Highway onto the Woronora Dam access road just south of Waterfall.  The banks of the Woronora Dam are an ideal location for a picnic or barbecue.  The site has all the facilities needed for a great day out, including picnic shelters, electric barbecues, toilets, drinking water, a playground and viewing area.
