Hi,

Is there a time when we have to be at City Oval for the display on Sunday?

I just picked up my stang from the mechanics, and cruising back through town, I saw several mustangs... starting to get all excited about this weekend!

Kustoms4u, On Sat nite we mostly all went to The Ballarat race Club for our dinner dance-sensational nite too. During the day on Sat we did an observation cruise from Nth Ballarat Footy Ground out to Daylesford.
Today, Sunday was the display day At City Oval. 400 or so Mustang cars on display= awesome sight!

Just arrived back in Sydney tonight after a good weekend in Melbourne and Ballarat. There was a great crowd at City Oval today for the Nationals with some stunning cars on display. Link to over 300 pics from today: http://www.carsofaustralia.com.au/events_gallery.php?details=288

hi guys n girls

attended show with dad and had a blast!  so many stunning cars, it was hard to know where to look at times!

was certainly rather boring getting back into my WRX after a full day of V8 rumble.

might have to solve that with a nice Pony for the weekends

Hi Guys, I am reasonably sure I heard the official number to be......353? cars I think I heard and just under a million people is what I recall counting.

Hi Hev ,

Meant to ask when we last spoke , how did you go with the judging at the Nationals.

I heard from Spider that he won Top Car in his class !!

Cheers, Geoff

Yes its true, Reg got a promotion to concours class for his fine efforts, Congratulations Reg.

And no My car went not so good, My fault I suppose for not enough preparation before the show, The standard is high and the lack of time to prepare it and the 1000k trip down took there toll.
I still had a great weekend and driving a classic Mustang from Sydney to Melbourne was reward enough.:+

hev maybe when some younger people get involved with the club, then maybe you will see more rewards for more classes it seems that if your mustang is as far away as original you don't have a chance .

Reminds me of the time I drove my old 67 from Melb to the Gold Coast for the 2001 Nationals. Spent a week cleaning it when I got there, while everyone else went surfing, swimming, fishing, sightseeing etc. Cured me of entering a judged class ever again. These days I'd rather have fun driving around the host city/town. For me it's about being there and having a good time, just like hev!
