Hey all - just found this forum looking for a replacement for the JMF which was hacked before Christmas and has been down ever since:w

I've had a few Mustangs over the last 15 years including the '68 you see in my sig pic (sold earlier this year).  I've just picked up a '67 FB which is my new project (see pic's here http://www.mikesmustang.iinet.net.au/mikes_mustang_for_sale_006.htm)

I have some pretty big plans for this car - budget permitting but I won't go into that at the moment.

I'm familiar with at least one of the members on here (g'day Nassi) and I'm hoping to check out his RRS installation sooner rather than later:f

I'm also the manufacturer of RetroGauge Mini-Tachs for 67/68 Mustangs which you may come across on eBay if you're searching for a tach dash for that model year.  This is a bit of a sideline, born out of my main business which is supply of electrical/electronic equipment to the OEM marine and automotive industries.

That's it in a nutshell.  Think I might hang around for a bit:(

Cheers, Mike B (aka Warmride)

Hi Mike, I place the order for the RRS gear on Friday. Have no idea how long it will take from there, but I expect it to be all done by the end of Jan.

Hi Nassi - sounds good.  I'm keen to see the end result.  How far are you going with the RRS gear?

Hello all,  I call it a mid life crisis but proud of it, have recently purchased a '68 fastback running a fairly worked 428, rest of car is pretty sweet as well.It is still in transit from Brisbane but hope to have in Perth on 31/10.Just got to get it over the pits. Driving me nuts counting down the days till it gets here,                                       Regards Ross

Hi all,

I am a newbie here and having a ball. I feel like I am in stang heaven, "wheels" your baby is just to drool over. "Blueprint", love ya work.

Hey while I'm here, does anyone know of a British racing green Mustang, preferably a 66, (but don't matter too much as long as it is a Mustang). I am desparately seeking a matching one for our wedding in January. We live in the Western Sydney area. Please feel free to either reply here or my email: mishca39@hotmail.com

My other half doesn't know I am doing this and I want it to be a surprise for him on the day

Regards

Mishca

Hi all.

I'd like to introduce myself. My name is René and I'm from South Australia. I bought a 65 GT Fastback K code with full documentation from the USA a couple of months ago. I shall be taking delivery of it at the end of this November. I'm wildly excited and waiting in anticipation. Thanks for having me here.

Regards,

RP

Hi Christine.

Welcome. Are you thinking of becoming a member of MOCA SA? I have just joined and the club is great. The people are very friendly and the club is very family orientated.

Have fun with the car.

Regards,

René

I just wanted to say hello to everyone. I'm in the US but have dropped by here as I am taking a trip to Melbourne in May. The trip is for work, but I hope to have some spare time to look around while I'm there. I'm also hoping to make it back to Australia again soon. It's a country I've always wanted to visit.

Anyway, I'm a huge racing fan of all types. Road racing primarily, but also NASCAR, Grand Am, and other series. I currently am racing with a group here in the US called NASA (www.nasaproracing.com). NASA sanctions a series called American Iron (www.americanironracing.com). We race 1960s to present muscle cars. I am driving a 96 Ford Mustang Cobra with a 4.6 DOHC engine. And of course, Mustangs are my favorite cars. I'm owned eight different Mustangs...two '66 289 hard tops, a '65 289 hardtop, an '88 LX 5.0, an '89 GT 5.0, two '96 Mystic Cobras (4.6 DOHC), and a '96 GT 4.6 SOHC. The only other vehicle I've ever owned is my '05 F-150 5.4 (for hauling my race car).

It's cool to see a lot of dedicated enthusiasts of the greatest car ever built all the way on the other side of the planet from where this all started. It amazes me to see how much it costs for conversions, importing, etc. But I know I'd do the same thing if I was there. If no one has come up with something yet, maybe one of you guys should come up with a RHD conversion kit for 64-70 Mustangs. I bet they'd sell well!
