FINALLY! got the dark blue GT350 sorted

cam timing was off.  made it run like a pig regardless of what john did to tune.  remedy cost me $35 (timing cover gasket set).  re-degree in the cam.  that was it.  

what a difference   :a

ta mate.  bought it from a fireman in Sacramento CA.  besides the car not running properly (despite many attempts and $$$s by myself and the previous owner to have it diagnosed and tuned) its a great, original car.

i reckon i'll be putting the stock seats back in it, and moving those leather SCAT's to the 500.

it took john 3 days (!!!) to diagnose the problem, and 2 hours to fix it.  i was perilously close to pulling the motor for a rebuild.  all it needed was re-degree'ing of the cam, and VOILA.  perfect.
