This post reminds me of the time I was driving into work - St Kilda rd Melb - in the service road there was a WRX with plates 'EVOKLR' and in the centre lane an EVO with the plates 'WRXETR'. They were travelling pretty level, so I dont know if they actually saw each others plates. Thought it was pretty funny at the time.

Was thinking of getting custom plates for the 70, but for $495 I can think of better ways to spend the $.

Yeah NSW have gone even further now.
You used to be able to pay $160 once off for "personalised" plates as long as they were a standard configuration.

For instance, on my escort I used to have MKI-13B.
Now they charge $120 a year if you ask for plates. Damn thieves.

And yeah, over $400 a year for custom plates on top of 700-800 for rego.. screw that.

makes me want to hurry these club plates along, and order my custom plates... WA will catch on soon that there is significant money to be made in customised plates...

Tim you do realize that, unlike the club plates, you can order your custom plates and leave them at dept of transport til you want to put them on a vehicle.. At least then no one else can get the plates you want in the meantime...

Yeah i do know that... i want to order them, but i gotta somehow sneak it in... was thinking of putting the custom plates on the flacon, but now i will have to reserve that for the club plates.

i will have to check the lotto ticket and see how i did

I've tried getting 'gidyup' and all the derivatives I can think of, all taken...

so is COWGRL

Don't think they have quite the same ring about them, do you, although they are quite funny and conjure up several scenarios... non that come to mind are complimentary either... I immediately thought of HEIFER!

QLD has a great site which let's you play around with different combinations, styles and colours and then you can just place an order. $415 and there yours. Not bad . Have a look.

lol... I am loving the suggestions... keep them coming. PNYGAL and COWGAL taken, tried those too!

I liked NEIGH as well, and derivatives thereof, i.e. NEIGH66, but no luck there either! Being an editor, I am a bit fussy with the misspelt versions, goes against the grain a bit... so NAY etc. is out!

Not keen on the cow connotations, I did find WYWAIT, and that was available. Not bad.
