Scott Fuller Exhaust Systems

Hello, has anyone shipped a Scott Fuller exhaust system to Australia?  Was the shipping organised by Scott Fuller or were you required to do it, who shipped it, cost etc. etc. etc.

Thank you Noel

NOEL

i have imported several of scotts exhaust systems into Australia for my customers cars
i do all the dirty work myself as its one less thing for him to concern himself with as he is a very busy man.

it is extremely costly so be prepared for extras above the purchase price.  well above 50% of the purchase price.
many freight companies will do it but get something in writing for a price and ask if that is usd or aud $$ and does this include taxes and importation costs etc.....

hope this helps
regards

Thanks Phill.  Yep that does help.

I kinda expected the need to have deep pockets.

I imagine the H-pipe being such an awkward piece wouldn't help.

A couple of more questions.

Does Scott Fuller at least box (?)/package it up, so then it's mainly the exercise of organising the shipping? Assuming, Scott Fuller did box (?)/package it up, was it adequate and the exhaust systems arrived undamaged?

Once again thanks
Noel

NOEL.

scotts packaging of the h-pipe or the longer rear section is first class, you dont just get an amazing exhaust system but he has also invested in quality on the packaging side of things.
wish other suppliers would do the same.

ive had no issues with it arriving as it was sent.

deep pockets yes but nothing now a days is cheap out of america.

Thanks Phil,

That's all very reassuring, thanks heaps.

Imagine a world where all reproduction parts were designed and manufactured to the same level as Scott Fuller's!

I recently purchased a set of production chrome wheel nuts for an XA GT (very similar to those for Magnum wheels). More than 20% were what I would describe as seconds (spiral tool marks on tips, no point on tip, defects in chrome). I sent them back.

Cheers
Noel
