It is common knowledge that ZDDP base oils are preferred for older cars. This article is interesting and potentially undermines some el-cheapo attempts out there  :grin:

I learned from this article that diesel engine oil can provoke low-speed preignition in gasoline engines. Thank you! Now I definitely understand the difference between these oils!
