Hi All,
My transfer pump from tank to surge tank is dying I think? I’ve purchased a Goss GE393.
I haven’t received it yet but was on YouTube getting some ideas how fit it height, angle etc.
I come across this YouTuber, very careful to disconnect the battery.
But watch how dangerous he does one thing!

Hey all,
Has anyone watched this video and seen he’s using a cigarette lighter to shrink the shrink wrap on the wires on this fuel pump line job where he’s had them disconnected and bits of fuel and vapours must be present!
I’m hesitant using a heat gun on low anywhere close to fuel lines and the fuel tank.

yup= saw that - I couldn't believe he was using rubber hoses from the fuel tank itself! Bloody madness....

Hey Jiffy,
I had braided rubber hoses from the tank to the engine and a return to the tank run down the other side of the car.
You could not believe the petrol smell.
I replaced them with nylon braided hoses, and the fittings are easy to fit.
Could have done it with hard line but it would have been hard.
Well worth it, Fixed the smell!

Have you noticed most of the cars are rubbish!
