Brake Pad Advise

(1/2) > >>

AussiePhil:
Hey all,
I’m looking at changing rear my brake pads on my 68 Mustang.
They are Ford Explorer UN - US disc brakes with drum park brake.
Not that they are worn, they are hardly worn and I think hard as a rock and they look like old original period 96-03 (riveted) pads.
I’m looking for a Premium braking pad.
There are the usual DBA, Bendex, Ferodo, RDA and then there is a heap of new brands I’ve never used!

What are your thoughts over brands and ceramic or semi metallic etc.

Cheers Phil.

AussiePhil:
Hey all,
After doing a bit of reading I ended up buying TRW ceramic pads.
I got a good deal through Spareszone! They sent through an order confirmation and tracking number within the hour!
I’ll let you know how they turn out.
Cheers Phil.

QFM are also good.

Hey Trav,
Great to see they are Australian owned and made!
I’ll remember that in future!
Cheers Phil.

Clubman7:
Don’t believe QFM are in business anymore.
