445/C6 auto advice

Hi there  looking for advice which way to go with C6 auto  going in behind 445 fe with  comp xtreme energy cam (i think anyways) should i go shift kit route  or all out and go full manualised reverse pattern mod   looking for pros and cons from people who know about this stuff.

Street driven , just go with a trans go stage 2 shift kit . Drag racing,  yes full manual and even a reverse patten shift .
