Hill End Historic Village

Hey all,
If anyone is thinking of visiting the beautiful Hill End Historic Village don’t follow your GPS.
And don’t use the Bridle Track!
The old convict built Bridle Track is only passable by dirt bikes midway at Monaghans Bluff.
There are signs and gates on either side, but at the moment someone has broken open the gate on Bathurst side.
Monaghans Bluff used to be blocked by a very large bolder but the council moved it, now the road had fallen away this side of Bathurst, it is only 4ft. wide and will fall more with more heavy rain.
On the weekend coming back from Hill End 100 yards after Monaghans Bluff I found a bloke and wife trying to get through to Hill End in a quandary directed by their Navaras GPS.
Luckily I was there to stop him and help them reverse back down the very rough track!
I have notified Council Engineers!
Have an enjoyable day not a frustrating day!
I’ll add some photos later.
Cheers Phil.
