WTB - Yamaha WR450F
« on: January 23, 2022, 06:44:22 am »
Hey,
Nothing to do with Mustangs but I’m looking to update my dirt bike.
I’m looking for a 2016 on Yamaha WR450F.
Please let me know if you have one for sale or know someone with one for sale!

Funny thing I went into a local bike shop saying I wanted to update my WR450F and the bloke said with what.
I said another WR450F, I love them!

I would consider a KTM450EXC though if anyone has one available!

Cheers and thanks Phil.

If you've never buggered anything you've never done anything!
But if you've buggered a lot maybe you're not very good at it!

Two for one is good but four for two is better!

Um, it begs the question then, what happened to your old one? Seeing as you broke its fall so to speak, was the only damage to you?
Did your wife carry out her threat and get rid of it for you?  :bolt:

Yes, you’re right the only damage was to myself, I only needed the adjust the mirror, no damage to the bike at all.
Still have the bike and went for a ride today to Hill End via the Bridle track, (look it up on the net, it’s a convict built road around 1850ish between Bathurst and the goldfields of Hill End), heavy rain over the past month has really knocked the road about, every turn at a gully is washed out really bad! But had a great day though, got a gut full of Blackberries on the way home.
The bike still goes great, not sure if I’ll update, I’m getting on a bit!
Prices for bikes and cars are out of control at the moment!
Cheers Phil.

Hey 67FBGT,
Fell off my bike again today, nursing a few injuries.
I think I’ll have to change my plans!
Hahaha.
Cheers Phil.

WTB - Safe cheap Ute or car!

Hey all,
Unfortunately I’ve had to change plans to something safer.
Anybody got a cheap Ute or Car.
I just can’t help myself! If dirt bikes have go, it must go!
On the good side I’m recuperating well, no breaks, just bruising.
Did have a brain scan though, they said it was MASSIVE!
Cheers Phil.

Update on 1st March, in fact three broken ribs and feel like crap still!

Cheers Phil.

Hey 67FBGT,
You’re stating I’m getting old, which you’re probably right!
Good old Aussie humour, take the piss out of someone when their down.
I’m starting not to like you!
No, I’d do the same.
Don’t forget to put your mobility chair on charge and cross at the lights.
Life is a degree of risk!
Cheers Phil.

Righto,
One last ride before I retire!
A Challenge!
Any of you from Daramuna road to Hill End Via the bridle track.
I’ve never been past unless I was injured and had to go to Hospital in an Ambulance!
Cheers Phil.

Hi all,
Now that I’m feeling a bit better and wife hasn’t ruled out buying another I am interested in buying  another WR450F.

Please let me if you have one for sale.
Preferably registered.
Cheers Phil.
