If you've never buggered anything you've never done anything!
But if you've buggered a lot maybe you're not very good at it!

Two for one is good but four for two is better!

What a dumb-ass moron. Totally irresponsible.  :ouch: Speeding, using both sides of the road, licence suspended due to drunk driving, unregistered vehicle with no plates showing. On what is essentially a public suburban road hence the 60 km/hr speed limit. Needs the book well and truly thrown at him.
Hey 67FBGT,
I couldn’t say it any better, Who in their right mind would with saying I was doing a Bathurst reenactment would go over well with the Police! Did he really drive it this far from Melbourne without getting caught, I do believe the residents off the Mount have hotline to Bathurst Patrol!
I probably drive the Mount once or twice a week, it’s very rare not to see Marked and Un-Marked BMW or that Chrysler.
I’m sure if in the Police compound it’s not covered, three months out in the weather with bird and bat shit all over it.
Cheers Phil.

These clowns are both stupider and braver than i am. If you were allowed I might wind it up a bit down Conrod but I found a lot of the track intimidating enough at 60 kph let alone anything faster.

I once had a ride in a simluator thing - you know, a fibreglass box with a few seats and a big screen in front of you and a lot of hydraulic rams pushing it around. it was programmed up with a lap of Bathurst by James Courtney. That was scary enough even though I knew it wasn't real.

Hey Geoff,
It’s more like something you Mexicans down south would do! not something us law abiding New South Wales people would do! He must have caught stupid from being in Melbourne!
Cheers Phil.

Hey Geoff,
All jokes aside about Melbourne you must have amazing industry around Melbourne area, on eBay at least 80% of gear comes from, Melbourne and Hoppers Crossing, Victoria. There’s a fair bit of industry around Botany and growing about Weatherill Park and Chinese parts out of Regents Park.
Hope you don’t get offended about the Mexican joke!
Cheers Phil.

Very harsh Phil. Fortunately I have both a thick skin and a sense of humour. I do think, though, you'd be better off sticking to your day job rather than persisting with comedy.

Hoppers Crossing might as well be Sydney for all I know about it or the frequency of my visits. It's just somewhere you go past on your way to the Surf Coast. I'm way over the other side of town.

Hey Geoff,
Glad you didn’t take offence.
I take the piss out of everyone I like!
Have a happy Australia Day, put a snag on the barbecue!
I like them burnt then butterflied and burnt a bit more on fresh bread or bun!
Cheers

I hope it takes him a lot more than 3 months to get it back, if ever. Makes me bloody angry, I hope he loses it for good. And any chance of ever holding a driving licence again also gone for good. Totally irresponsible and shouldn't be on the road behind the wheel ever again.

All it takes is for the moron to come around a corner on the wrong side of the road at speed on the limit - thinking he's Dick Johnson or Peter Brock - and meet pedestrians, cyclists or other motorists - maybe mum, dad and/or the kids - and a very tragic major disaster unfolds.
Re-enacting 'the big race?' What a complete tosser. And he's driving an unlicensed tank and who knows what shape it's in safety-wise. The police, and the locals, must be fed up to the back teeth with morons like that.
Hey, I agree!
Unfortunately it Wasn’t that long ago a bike rider got cleaned up, a 4WD came around Forrests bend I believe only a little over the wrong side, it can happen.
You have a great Australia Day also.
Cheers Phil.

The guy I'm question was literally buying my 40th Anniveesary FPV GT at the time. He had told me and sent me pics of his journey from Melbourne to Sydney in the GT - but didn't disclose he was suspended, the car was unregistered etc.

When he paid for the 40th, I dropped it around to his holiday house not far from me. Have no doubt he drove it home that night back to Sydney.
