Exhaust Exit Location

Hi, is it legal to have the exhaust exit behind the rear tyres on a 66 coupe as shown in the pic?

Really depends on the state you're in.  It's not legal in SA.

Not that I’d know for sure!
I would imagine it would be fine in NSW.
Different drivers, different rules if you know what I mean.
They look great but didn’t you take a harder route going over your leaf springs!

Rules must be tough in SA, I see you say that a lot!

My exhausts used to come out before the back wheels either side because it was easier, but we had a new bunch of blues in town cracking down on cars, so I ran them out the back, had to go over axles and then under pan hard bar and then back up near the chassis.
Before I got caught!!!
It’s a shame because they looked great!
