Electric fuel pump

(1/3) > >>

ag71:
Hi guys just wondering if anyone can recommend a quite external electric fuel pump I can fit to my 66 coupe It gets abit annoying hearing my pump whining or whirring away.

Thanks,

GLENN 70:
Why are you running an electric pump anyway ? . A stock pump will do the job .

Clubman7:
I like my electric fuel pump.
No cranking to get fuel to carb.
Also have cutoff switch for anti theft.
Got a Facet external on my car.
Just requires cutoff switch in case of accident.

Micks66coupe:
Where have you got the pump mounted? My 66 has an old electric pump (not connected) mounted next to the fuel tank, I found it when I had the car up on a hoist when I was checking it before I brought it.

The pump was there when i bought it, its mounted next to the tank.
I will have a thorough look and make sure its not vibrating against the tank or the body but it just seems a noisy unit.
