Hey All,
I never thought I’d ever watch Ford vs Ferrari thinking it would rubbish. It did come with much hype!
But I watched it last night, apart from the sped up filming it wasn’t to bad.
Of course not being old enough to remember the story.
It showed the relationship, even though false between (Shelby and Miles) and showed Phil Remington it didn’t add the impact Klaus Arning and others had in the development of the GT40.
Also the incar footage seemed very unreal, gear changes, pedal work and drivers looking across at each other?
Maybe made for the story for the general public other than for the purists.
The fact that Ken Miles didn’t win the Le Mans because of a technicality is a disgrace.

Not a bad film to watch but don’t expect to much accuracy?

All the cars are beautiful!

Cheers Phil.

Happy Bathurst day Aussie Phil

Are you watching from the front yard?  Looks like a wet track.

Hey Tony,

Can’t see the cars but can hear them.
I missed it this year!
Got a bit of a cold.
The last few weeks have been really wet, the Edgel Bridge to the back of Kelso / Lanarth today has more water over it than I’ve ever seen by far.
This years the telecast has been brilliant on all days?
Been doing a bit of work to my car in between practice and qualifying.
Crowds are getting so large it’s getting hard to get a good spot, last year I was watching at turn one with brilliant seats on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, but on Sunday I had to watch at the fence looking through a camera tower.
I was planning on going this year up the mount?
Unless you can get a corporate seat The best way to watch the weekend is with a caravan parked on top of the Mount camping ground, in front of a track screen, watch what you want, have a nap when you want and no traffic in and out!
But saying that the atmosphere is great!
Cheers Phil.

Was a good race.  It had a bit of everything this year.

Hope you're feeling better.

Hey Tony,
Just a cold!
Those poor campers at Bathurst have endured rain, rain and more rain.
This morning there’s a Frost.
What a weekend!

I have a Mustang, but I’m a Holden Fan!

Cheers Phil.
