So - a bunch of stickers and seat trim for $70k?
No power adder? No insane body kit?
Very nice looking car, but that's a LOT of money....
Black '69 CJ 4SPD car under construction (425/504)
Black 2002 SVT Cobra - 2003 Terminator Clone (575rwhp/716rwtq - SOLD)
Black ‘63.5 Galaxie 4SPD fastback (just you wait...)

If the claim in the ad is genuine, the Mustang Motorsport GT-Heritage package is $35k and includes some performance add-ons (plus stickers and emblems).

exactly - what's a base '18 GT worth at the auctions? $45-50K?

I'm not sure about auctions, I can see that MY19 GT used or dealer demo are for sale between $55k and $65k. I checked 2018/2019 cars and from dealers only, not private sellers.

anyway, still trying to figure out the price for the one (which is not supercharged) for sale in that ad.... at the end the GT-H package with some performance add-ons plus all golden things is basically $43k, so at least $11k are added to the price without any reason

I struggle with this one - its not a real Hertz (no hertz badges) but they use the same gold and market it as the Heritage edition. Its basically the cheapest sticker pack that you can get from Shelby - so technically, it is a Shelby

All a bit sad really

original Hertz black/gold is one of my favourite, and you are right saying those look cheap stickers... it is the same as in the US http://www.shelby.com/images/PDF/2019ShelbyGT_Web.pdf

anyway, if I were to buy a new mustang, I will consider the Shelby GT-H

well, maybe not the one in that ad, as it looks overpriced

I don't think you will find that car any cheaper elsewhere (maybe 2nd hand?) - it only comes from MMS as they are the only licensed Shelby joint in AU. That car is a standard GT with the "Heritage" pack added on locally (as others have said)

Other people (me included) have modified their GTs themselves (each to their own), in my case I wanted mine to look like a Hertz car (but I am under no illusion that it is just a clone car).

So this comes down to where you place the value - 35k for a Shelby badge - personally, I don't think Shelby is the brand it once was, but that is just me

one of the options (for me) could be buying a second hand 2019 black GT and then go to MMS to do the Heritage pack (if I really want to and I see the value on that). This will cost me at least $10k less than the car in the ad.
Anyway in the US the GT-Heritage pack for new GTs was done for cars available for rent at Hertz.

yeah, probably Shelby is not the brand it once was, but it still has some appealing factors
