Just repaint  them yourself , Argent silver . By the time you fit the trim ring and center cap on ,not much to see. . Mustang auto parts do sell it .

yes after looking into the cost of someone else doing what seems like a straight forward job, I will have them blasted and I'll paint them myself.

Mustang Autos does have the paint, will pick up tomorrow.

my only other question is how do the centre caps attach to the rim? I've seen some on gumtree which have a retainer. However, others selling the centre caps say they just attach to the rim.

The rims that were made for the small hubcaps have "bumps" in them for the caps to lock onto, as in this photo of a chrome 12 slot.
If your sandblasting and painting you could put some welds on their first, then grind into shape. ]

thanks. so either weld (got no welder) or go with the cap with the bolt on retainer.

any idea what these 12 slotters may have come off? guy who sold them to me didn't know.

Original mustang 12 slots have little lugs that the caps press onto . Have a look and see if they have ROH stamped somewhere and made in Australia .

You can get them for XA's & xb's that didnt have the small cap. They had a poxy little fag centre cap thing that the wheel nuts held on.

found a place in Vic that stocks the centre caps in a chrome finish with a custom made adapter like the one shown up top. would have preferred the stainless matt finish. so i’m checking to see it their adpaters would work with the stainless type Mustang auto stocks.
