I will be more to the point. The likelyhood of crashing with bias ply tires is around a bazillion times higher than it is with radials. The bias plies were total crap when they were new in the 60s and they are even crappier now as a reproduction of a crappy original tire.

That may be right for Miss Bruce Jenner but here in Oz the major cause of accidents is texting on their stupid cellphone.....

Miss Bruce Jenner.  :lmao:

We have a bazillion people that drive here that use cell phones that cause accidents, but I have seen first hand, "real" females (as opposed to artificial ones like Bruce or Kaitlin or whatever the fk it calls itself now  :lmao: ) in brand new, huge suv's or 4 door long bed 4x4 trucks etc, putting on makeup while driving in between sipping their cinnamon cafe latte's and eating their blueberry soy bean alfalfa sprout muffins.

See, you will eventually get a useable answer to any question you ask here, but it might take few pages to get it, just ask fitzy.  :lmao:

if it is of any interest on the original topic  :smash: I purchased some American Classic bias look radials from Antique Tyres in Melbourne for my 57 T-Bird. The drive was almost a bazillion times better than the bias tyres and still looks the part. However the main reason I did it is that I have manual steering and wanted to keep a smaller width tyre to ensure the steering did not get too much heavier.
