Just an update on Robert Wallace - below from email sent to me by Fair Trading - sentencing has been delayed and he will be sentenced on August 29 at Parramatta Local Court

The matter of Robert WALLACE was at Parramatta Local Court yesterday 15 June. WALLACE pleaded guilty to section 158 Competition and Consumer Act and Section 269 Bankruptcy Act.

The matter was adjourned for sentence to 15 August 2018 (to allow sufficient time for the preparation of the PSR, defence to obtain material for sentence and to accommodate the court calendar/lists). The defendant was otherwise ordered to report to the Hornsby Probation and Parole Office within seven (7) days.

At least something happened eventually but still no money back from the scumbag....

??? What's the context?

Its a long and ugly story - some more here - https://www.mustang.org.au/forum/index.php/topic,30911.msg313855.html#msg313855 - there were more comprehensive threads but these were removed by admins (legal reasons)

Summary - Been going for years, he is as dodgy as they come and it is not only the Mustang club members that have been victims (it was the actions of some from the Ferrari club that led to his initial bankruptcy, he them moved onto mustangs). Quite a few people (myself included) have been through NCAT and the Courts, still going

cheers

Sorry to drag up an old thread, but a bit of closure

Robert Wallace (Robert James Wallace) had his sentencing hearing on the 18th Sep 2018 at Parramatta Local Court - WALLACE was given 200 hours community service and fined $39,000.00. He was also order to repay monies owed (total $19,000) to the consumers who have not had orders against WALLACE in other jurisdictions. The Court can not issue another order if there is an existing NCAT or Local Court order.

He has a few registered business names (Mustang Stables, Hidden TV, Poni Performance) and is still actively selling online (under different names) - so please be careful

cheers
