Plenty of used ones on Ebay starting around $70 including postage and new repros from $100.

I have checked a few and they all have the stepped shaft mount, and I am a bit off ebay just now as they have caused me a real mess with my last buy thats why I was asking if a member had one. Thanks for the idea

Aren't they supposed to have the stepped shaft mounts?  I've never seen a flat one...

Up till all fords day thats what I was lead to believe but there where some cars there with equal shaft holes so I was lost again. If I get a stepped one agai8n I will have to cut the backs off and work on it but I can not wreck the one in the car as its her car and I am not going down that road here.

Are you putting a factory style radio in it or modern/aftermarket?

There is not much room in there so it will most likley be after market, if you check the photo it should show that there is not much room in there.

Hi dead66, I used a standard mounting panel and cut the centre out of it to fit a modern radio into it. It worked a treat. I just had to make sure it was a nice tight fit, then attach a mounting bracket from the back of the radio to dash and it's not going anywhere. Nice tidy job.

You can get repros that are made for modern DIN size stereos:

No idea of the quality.

Thank you Bac but the post above may be the way I will go if he finds it, I really dont want to buy off ripoff bay as you buy $60 and by the time they box it up (in a box 6 times bigger than needed) and only send by express international post you will pay more than what the item cost and Im not into that.
I think some of the sellers and dealers are tiring to save the US postal system. I have given up buying off places like CJ pony and California mustang and at that place I had the sales person told me if I needed longed seat belts my partner needed to jenny craig, They lost a very large order over that one.

Just sent u an email Ray. Unfortunately I do not have a spare radio bezel that you are looking for. However I do have two Mustang 8 track players that I picked up after being fully serviced last week. (Thanks Mark Sully from Car Stereo Repairs in Melb.) One is an original 1966 Mustang Fomoco T6SMZ complete with bezel (ford part no' C6ZA-18842) origional knobs, uncut wiring, plugs and dash bracket. The other is a 1967 Mustang Fomoco T7SMZ with radio surround bezel (ford part no' C8ZA18842) knobs, uncut wiring, plugs but no dash bracket. As mentioned radios have been fully serviced but may need some cosmetic touches for a perfect concourse restoration but are ideal for an "original patina" car. I will be posting them for sale as I already have an original 8 track in my 66. Cheers, Terry
