The track owners are playing games with us .. I was told for this year the track times were going up from 20 min to 30 min and to  be honest 20 min is long enough I think . Here is the catch tho ,it use to be $10 per session for 20 min ,now $20 for that extra 10 min .  This is for the 1st three sessions then the next seven are 20 min still and still $10 .  In the past the first three sessions are the main ones that people go for ,so let's rip us off .  I think they may have dropped the 1/8 mile drag racing as well and any other sort of racing ? . We should  all  band together and no one go out for the 1st three sessions . That's if I even go .

I don't think I will go .  The car club I am in with over 400 members and around 200 American cars , ALL THE MEMBERS  have said NO because of the PRICING . We use to get around 50 members that went to this event ,now zero .  $10 per car into the gate ,$10 per person , $20 each time for the 1st three track sessions , $10 each time for the later sessions then $50 for the track challenge .   For us gold coasters 2 toll payments around $10 ,fuel $70 plus ,food etc . $200 plus day  :thud:

Beautiful clear winter's day it turned out to be. In excess of 50 Mustangs showed up and most people looked liked they enjoyed the day and the track.

Unfortunately mine only had 1600kms under the belt and I wasn't willing to run it. Another few 1000 kms and I would have.

Lots of other interesting Americana about too.

A few phone pics below from just after 8am ..... lots more showed up through the course of the morning  :burnout:

Wouldn't have hurt it. Cars are a lot different these days from when you used to have to run them in.
I once had a car on the grid at Morgan Park with 600 kms showing and another at Lakeside with 760 kms on the odo. Neither suffered any problems in the long term.
