Hi Bomber, I spoke with them this morning and they were checking some of the paperwork I provided, I already know they have inspected everything and it will be passed, unfortunately I had some issues that took up the entire day at work and I thought I could get down to the shop with them still there, so didnt bother ringing to double check, so total confidence the blue slip will be / has been written, I just need to get my hands on it, was more concerned re the car being moved next door for a final tune up so I can drive her home after paying the rego! Will keep you posted!!  Thanks for checking in!

Overall good news, all inspection paperwork now in my hands, only setback is the real engine gun next door cant get to mine for tune up until Thurs, so a bit more tinkering with small stuff, I'll chase down a green slip tonight, hopefully get into the RMS tomorrow, prob get abused for not returning the plates 10 years ago, ask for them to be reissued, then swap over to the new mustang plates they have on offer, then hopefully when I start holidays in two weeks time, everything will have been sorted and can spend a few weeks cruising and enjoying

Managed to get down and actually register today, had to surrender the old plates though, not unexpected since they had been cancelled for a decade, but have had them reissued in the new US Style Black Mustang plates which will take a few weeks to get made and delivered, in the mean time the old black and yellows have been issues to at least allow me to drive around when the tune is finished next week! A surreal lul before the storm of actually being able to get out and about

Its been a very long time coming, and there is still plenty of tinkering on many little things, but I picked her up today, fully registered, and was able to enjoy cruising the local streets for a couple hours, the builder liked it so much he has picked up his own 67!  Very much looking forward to catching up and any upcoming gatherings!

Thanks Husky, absolutely stoked, have to admit to being a little nervous driving around yesterday, everybody seemed just that little too close for my liking!

Thought Id throw up some pics as I guess a kind of end to this build thread that I took out at the All Ford Day , the start of the thread shows things at its worst, so hopefully at least these can show it now at its best since coming off the production line...
