Ok so here goes
70 Mach 1
351 Windsor...Weird thought they had clevlands but anyhow
2nd owner in oz, the guy who imported it was not a moca member and car was living in Victoria for the past 6 years
Originally a Florida car and lived in Florida it's whole life before being imported

Resto completed in 1997

Undercarriage is very clean and rust free, body needs some work, some minor blemishes here and there but a fantastic driver for the meantime

Engine bay is probably one of the ugliest I've seen, I will post a before and after once completed

All and all an honest car and structurally strong (rust free where it all counts)

Everything else can eventually be gutted, including that clarion/ginger interior lol

Also forgot to add, I got a brand new air con kit, I mean the full deal in original form not aftermarket, the guy never got a chance to install it

Are you going to drive it home, or transport? I drove mine from Melbourne to Maitland when I bought it. Great shake down cruise.

Thanks for the comments all

Didn't get to drive it cause it was on club rego and he took the plates so I had no choice but to ship, we did however drive it back to the transport company and I can't WAIT to get into it

I'm going to the states next week so I'm hoping she'll be on the road by mid August

As for the louvers, prev owner took them off and dumped them somewhere cause it was apparently obstructing his view and made it too dark in the car, this current owner will be adding louvera pronto!!! Fixtures are there just need the actual louvers not the full kit

Oh and yes it's a factory 3 speed manual, it's now running a T5 I believe so 5 speed

Congrats Al,

looks good. will be looking forward to seeing it at Kellyville coffee and cars soon.

Is it original colour?, Windsor motor, 3 spd manual with ginger interior, would think not too many in that combo?

Cheers
Keith

My car was from Victoria. The owner wanted to hand in the plates thinking he'll recoup some $$$ and that I wouldn't be able rack up some fines against his name. Lol. I ended up getting an UVP unregistered vehicle permit. $60. Myself and 2 mates flew down and drove it back. Fantastic road trip. 👍👌

Hi Welcome, Same thing happened to me, bought the car up at the Gold Coast, previous owner cancelled club plates,
so I got an unregistered permit Qld Motor Registry cost $80 per day ( 18 months ago ) must be a single trip no
overnight stops, no diversions, pulled an all night-er to Lake Macquarie NSW.
Long night..... it drove like a pig, all fixed now.
Enjoy the club.
Nice car, by the way.
Cheers,
I did not think growing old would be so quick
Keep smiling, it keeps everyone guessing.
