Autolite 4100 Disassembly Detail....
« on: May 04, 2016, 09:06:11 pm »
On the 6Z B 4100 I have there is the secondary diaphragm arm, a plastic lever held in by what looks like a pressed in pin.

Anyone know if this is directional, and if so which way is best to punch out the pin? Need to remove it for restoration and sure don't want to break the case....

Hi Mert,

This youtube video shows it is a drift pin that needs to be drifted towards the bottom of the carb (about 11min mark).
