Was a good night last night, even the lawn bowler ran a 12.07 @ 114 Mph in my car when my best at the time was 12.01 @ 114 Mph but my final run I ran a PB of 11.99 @ 114 Mph

Glenn driving below
https://youtu.be/2ByINGENZus

Time slips below, yes I know my RT is slow but you can't say my car isn't consistent that it ran 5 passes at 12.1 @ 112 Mph

Thanks Rodney for talking me into giving your car a run down the drag strip even tho I was not happy driving someone else s car .  After you running a few 12.0 and a couple of 12.5 times I thought I would only run a 12.5 at best ,as I don't know the car . When you told me I ran a 12.0 I didn't believe you  :smile01: but I did  :thumb: . Gee what would happen if I had a 2 nd run 11.9   :smile01:  and then if I got use to it 11.8 or faster  :lmao:   That's why I didn't have a 2 nd run  .  Anyway your 11.9 time was great and I don't want to see any more 12 sec time cards from your car again .  :burnout:  :thumb: .

Rodney/69 ish ,Ryan/ shelby mustro and myself went to willowbank drags yesterday . Ryan in is new turbo mustang and  did his best time   so far , and broke into the 13s with a 13.7  :pepper:  after finding out the auto shifts quicker than him with the paddle shift .  Rodney had a bad day with a 12.298 a best I think   and I had a bad day also only running a 12.33   :thud:  and  .

Lee my car is going slower and slower these days .  Its 6 years old and been cooked a few times ,BUT never thrashed  :lmao: .  I couldn't bother about it anymore because if your not running in the 10s you may as well watch . I only went because it was a club day and only decided a couple of days before and did not do anything to the car before racing except chance the tyres .

That was Shelby mustro/Ryan I am sure he will tune in but I am sure his first run was a 13.2 or 13.3 which was his best run.

Not bad for a biggish car with a 4 cylinder engine.

Not bad are you kidding that's very quick ,13.2  Is fast  even for a V8 . That's what I have seen a few new mustang V8 s run lately . The only problem with the 4 cyl EB is the noise they make   nothing in a mustang sounds better than a V8 . And boy was it windy at the track yesterday and coming down the track right at you ,most cars ran slower mph  and a higher ET than normal .

13.1 was the best time of the day and that run was against you Rodney. Few more mods I am hopeful of cracking a mid 12.

As I have found with these turbo cars they are good for a few runs. The hotter my turbo got the worse I ran.

Thats the same with all cars mate, let them cool down and they will run quicker

Turbo cars have the big problem with heat .  Some guys run a water spray that shoots water over the front intercooler and a better cover over the turbo . Ryan a 13.1 is great and that's what a FG XR6 turbo runs std at  around 108 mph .

That's what my mates FG G6E Turbo ran at 4000+ lbs standard. With new valve springs, bigger injectors and fuel pump, intercooler and finally a bigger turbo at 12 lbs of boost he progressed to 11.75 at 125mph.

I had 2 mates run there  FG XR6 turbos ,both auto ,both had K& N filters other wise stock . Both manual shifted and both ran 13.3 @108 mph then left them in drive then one ran 12.76 @ 110.3 the other ran 12.75 @ 110.8 mph .  Both ran those times at night in the cool air .

GT4 Rally Celica's had the intercooler sprayer standard.

See I come up with all the good ideas and the car makers steal my ideas .
