Us young fellas are surrounded by a bunch of geriatrics.....

Well.. you're driving a car designed by geriatrics older then those on the site...

And, if your lucky, some day you'll be one too.   :smile01:

It ain't all bad being a few years from retirement, owning your home and all your "stuff"... not at an age looking forward to 30+ more years of work weeks to pay off the mortgage and all the other debt!!!!  Two sides to every coin!  :pepper:

I asked but did ask when did you buy your 1 st mustang and how old you were .

16 and I paid $300.00 for a licensed and good running loaded 1965 V8 coupe.

I took three grandsons (aged 10,9,and six ) for a run yesterday and they just loved it,
we had six "wow's" from pedestrians plus two guy's who wanted to talk Mustangs and congratulated
us on a nice ride.
The biggest highlight for me was when one of the boys said
"Pop how come you don't act old?"
Just turned seventy, so one happy camper!
Cheers,
PS The lumpy exhaust burble brings a huge smile to their faces. (mine too )

I did not think growing old would be so quick
Keep smiling, it keeps everyone guessing.

Just think of how many owners are now ghosts as you pass them onto the next generation. I am just minding the car for the next owner.

I would like to be buried with my Mustang, thanks! :lmao:

I got my 67 coupe about 3 months before my 16th birthday.
Loved the new ones too, but 6-figure values meant the idea of owning a current model was simply insane...
Then Ford announced they'd bring the 2015 Mustang here, and revealed the pricing, UNDER $100k!
Now I'm 21 and looking forward to when I've finished uni, working full time and ordering a new GT will become more of a possibility..

Just submitted my poll for the 40's. This is my 2nd mustang. 1st one was a 67GT fastback bought it when I was 20 and sold it  :ouch: . This one is a 68 coupe ordered with a lot of GT goodies to fit the family into (when it is finally on the road) plus I couldn't afford a fastback in any year. Still would like a 69 sports roof 351 about april build would be nice

I was 46 when I got my Mustang. I'm 59 now and will only part with it when I'm too old to use it.
