I'm up for rego shortly and i've been looking into the new log book scheme..

What exactly is involved in NSW ?

Any recommended clubs in Newcastle ?

Mate, I'm the Club Plate Registrar for MOCA in NSW and live in the Central Coast. Give me a call 0403505762 to discuss any concerns/questions.

Basically the car has to be stock. Period correct. Things like bigger brakes, wheels, RHD conversion may require certification from RMS as per VSI6.

The latest news on the new NSW CVS rego scheme is that it will be officially announced on the 19th Dec (this year) & should be operational by 1st Jan 2017.

This is the beauty of the new log book scheme, you can do exactly that for up to 60 days per year, plus club outings & yet it's only around $60 per year including CTP.

Ha ha that means it's not 'anytime'. 60 days works out to basically once a week.

Most don't get out that much per year. Isn't there also a 90 day plan or is that just Victoria?
