Don't beat around the bush Glenn, say what you mean!

I guess we can put you down as not being impressed. I won't be getting either version, just stumbled across this footage thought other forum members might find it interesting. If they are, there is some more information here http://www.fftec.com/item/1835/FFTEC_8374_Max_Performance_Turbo_System.html.

Looks like about 520 hp and they say they've tested it extensively in a range of road use situations without any failures, but I guess they wouldn't necessarily 'fess up to it only lasting 10 runs.

Have a good weekend everybody.

I hear that 2016 models are scheduled to start production on Aug 3. As they've only been building RHD for a couple of weeks will we have a 64 and a half situation, where the majority of RHD's will be 16 models, and only a small number will be 15's?
Have you ordered a 2015 or a 2016? Will those built next month have the 16 updates?

I guess I'm just not a 4 cyl turbo person no matter how fast the bloody thing can go   v8  for me . :thumb:    520  HP can't be right to run 122 mph in a car the would weigh with driver around 1800 kg or 3900 lb .   520hp at the rear wheels is more like it .

Very cool stuff. Not bad pricing for a big hp gain like that!

Glenn I'm with you about the v8 but unfortunately for me I think the misus has the foot hold on getting the turbo 4. I'm sure this kit will get her to work in a hurry.

:agree:
A 4cyl turbo won't be the same as a V8..
Having said that, I don't usually drive my 6cyl wishing for a V8, although I do want one, it's not like I spend the whole time wishing the engine would morph into a 351..

Think the Ecoboost is going to surprise a lot of people at just how well it will perform.
As a daily i cant see an issue having one, and hopefully might once the hype drops off.
V8 is real nice but cant justify the extra $20000, fuel economy, and ability to use that sort of horsepower in a daily situation.
Of course if the costs aren't an option, than why not.
Think of how much you save over an AMG Merc.
