Masters is on again this Saturday night ,around 6 ish .

I'm going for a look. Was just on the phone to a friend of mine with a new red GT and told him about Masters. He's not in any clubs and hasn't been to Masters before so might be bringing it along.

There was four new GT's at the Club run last weekend.
Race Red
Blood Orange
Grey (cant remember the name of it)
Yellow (bloody bright too but looked sweet)

All looked awesome - was great to finally get a closer look, hope your mate brings it along

I didn't make it either.
Got to my friend's place at Anglers Paradise around 4 pm and we went for a drive in his new GT. He's already installed gas struts to the bonnet and longer carbon fibre paddle shifters so he can adopt the 10 to 2 wheel position.
Have to say I'm impressed by the performance. My last modern car was an FG F6 and this GT felt a bit quicker. Lovely exhaust note under hard acceleration and the down shift blips are cool.
So we parked in a quiet spot and I started to take some pics but had to cut it short as this menacing black cloud formation headed our way at alarming speed. We just got back into the underground car park in time before it hit.
We checked the Brisbane radar on his computer and some of it was heading to Coomera, so needless to say, that Mustang wasn't going anywhere from then on.
So I went home and had a few beers. End of story.

Storm front approaching ...

Bonnet struts ..

Was heading up in my mates holden with a 600 cu in chev big block and a 871 super charger  :thud:  . The rain was so heavy we couldn't see the road ,so we gave up . By the way Pete that mustang looks hot and I like the silver wheels ,bit sick of all the black wheels on everything these days .

Glenn tell your mate to look into the red taillight lens kit, their was a new GT on our run last weekend  with the kit and it looked so much better than the white tail lights,

cheers

Forecast for this evening is "mostly fine". At 3.50 pm, radar shows rain depressions west around Beaudesert moving in a northwest direction and nothing coming up from the southwest towards Coomera.

Look I know I'm often mistaken for the man above, but even he has no control over the weather.  :therethere:

Giant hail storm heading towards Coomera now (4.05 pm) so anyone thinking of going should check before leaving home.

That reminder had a slightly familiar ring to it. Have you paid that $5 to Barney yet?
