I got there at 8:30 after taking the missus out for Valentines dinner and there was only around 20 cars left and when we left 15 mijs later there would have been less than 8 cars. talking to people that will still there they said earlier it was packed. I know Glenn was there before I got there maybe he can shed some more light on why it died so quickly ???

You must have got there just after we left  :bolt: We didn't stay long, there was some very nice cars there though, will only get bigger, it's a good spot for it. Good reason to give car a blast down the motorway. Anyway Rod, I'm the bloke you met up at Hughie's the other week, I was fitting the headlining in the HX Monaro. Nice to meet you, will catch up next time.

The Cadillac Club Qld puts it on, I think they're planning for 1 a month if all goes well, check their Facebook page for details.

I think they said every 2nd  Saturday of the month . The parking is good as is the lighting ,food shops are a short walk . I think it will be bigger next time once word gets around . I think 6.30 on would be a better time ,at the moment it's starts at 6 pm .

At the moment it's for American cars only ,that's great but its  not going to work . They don't want commodores ,and late model cars ,so I'm trying to change it to chrome bumper bars . So if it came out of the factory with real bumper bars ,    (chrome) or painted  ,not plastic that will be fine .  Even on their 1 st night they had maybe 10 Aussie cars ,most pre 1982 so let them come if the have the right bars .   What do you think ? .

Yes it was a good turn out , and a lot of different cars .  We just have to watch out with the later model cars turning up . I haven't spoken to the guy that started it up but I want to ask him to put it out there its for cars with chrome bumper bars .  Quite a few new commodores last night    .   Some super tough cars also but to be honest I don't know how they get away with driving them on the road and not being pulled over and put off the road .

I didn't sit beside my car at all but the guys in the club I am in did (GCMCA)  Rodney sat beside his car most of the night but just not when you came around by the sounds of it and he asked me about you . We will meet up sometime  :thumb:
