I just checked the weather forecast. Sunday = 30% chance of shower, likely in the afternoon..

Fingers crossed, the rain stays away!!

Ah yes, apologies guys. An extremely late Saturday night put paid to any plans for an early Sunday morning.  :smilies:

Hopefully I can get along to the next one.

Cheers, Andrew.

I like the purple transit van, nice restomod. I wonder what the side mirrors are off.

The purple transit van is a CF Bedford.
The mirrors look like GT1J Hino mirror heads.

Yep, Holden's truck division.

The model no. XU-1 went to Torana and XU-2 was destined to the truck division, till an engineer decided to rescue it and assign it to the next Torana.

XU-2 was later scrapped and became the SL/R

Love the Raven Black 69 Mach 1 428 (no surprise there), but it always annoys me when people spend so much time, effort and money on their cars and then do something stupid like putting the wrong steering wheel on! A proper Rimblow would make this car perfect.

A few of us went to this last month.. Its a very well run event in a great location. The organisers are a great bunch and support some very worthwhile charities. This is defiantly one to put on your list of events to visit.

Have noted this in the diary as I really want to get to this meet as it is one of the few local to me. Unfortunately the May date clashes with the MOCA Mystery Brekky Run so will look forward to a nice sunny, winters Sunday morning in June to get the '68 coupe there.  :smile01:

I would be interested in popping over but it would need to be listed in the club mag/website as those of us on Club plates cannot attend unless a sanctioned event.

I am a big supporter of having more events in and around the inner suburbs, for those of us that live in the area it can be too big of a day to go on the long runs down to southwest/northwest etc.

Maybe you can email the club president and suggest the event be included (just as the events below are). In my mind it is a good option to have a reasonable number of these shorter "events" so that those of us with commitments who sometimes cannot give up a day due to business or family can still make an effort to be out and about regularly with the club.

First Saturday of Month - Camaro Firebird Owners Club Mystery Cruise.
Meeting at Parramatta Pools carpark (O'Connell St) from 7.00 pm departing at 7.30pm to a mystery location

Second Saturday of Month - Grange Classic Garage @ Smeaton Grange.
Come along to this new event in South Western Sydney. Starts from 4pm and goes through till late. Great for a Saturday evening cruise in the summer and autumn months, plus a variety of Food and Beverage is available. A huge array of cars and music to see and hear. A fellow Mustang and Ford enthusiast runs this event. Address; 24 Anzac Ave, Smeaton Grange.

Second Saturday of Month - Romans Rod Club, Hungry Jacks Sylvania 5:30pm

First Sunday of Month - Cavallino`s Cars n coffee at Terry Hills.  8:00am through to about 10:00am
The address is Cnr. Of McCarrs Creek Rd. and Yulong Ave. Expect a good mix of classics, exotics and collectibles along with bikes hot rods etc.

Second Sunday of Month - Sunday Cars and Doughnuts
Krispy Kreme`s at Penrith Panthers car park Mulgoa Rd. Penrith. All makes and models welcome from 8.00am through to about 10.00am.
